GETECH - MXSC Belt Conveyor Module<br>Solution in the Unloading System

In the rapidly developing semiconductor industry, Micron’s Xi’an branch faced a challenging issue during the upgrade of their DRAM storage products. Frequent product damage during transportation was traced back to the inconsistent positioning of the belt conveyor module in the existing GETECH-MXSC unloading system, causing misalignment during the transfer process. In response to this challenge, DKSH’s service team worked closely with GETECH to propose an innovative “Bridge Shaft” output solution.

Problem Diagnosis and Solution Proposal

Faced with the product damage issue, the DKSH service team acted swiftly, collaborating with GETECH to conduct on-site inspections and simulation tests. Through extensive meetings and data collection, the service team actively searched for the root cause of the problem and worked with the client to explore a practical and effective solution. After in-depth discussions, both parties proposed the “Bridge Shaft” transfer solution, an innovative method designed to replace the original belt transfer system to prevent misalignment and damage during transportation.

Implementation and Results

With the joint efforts of the supplier, customer, and other parties, the modification project was successfully completed in 2022. The newly upgraded bridge shaft transfer system effectively solved the product damage issue and significantly improved Micron’s product quality control. This upgrade not only met the client’s new product requirements but also provided additional benefits: the service team was able to secure additional orders for fixed devices, further increasing revenue and aligning with TEC's sustainability strategy.
